Has anyone eaten at the rainforest cafe inside animal kingdom? We liked the disney springs location, is there any difference in the two locations?

No differences at all.

Only concrete difference is the AK RFC was built to be an RFC and the DS RFC was renovated to be an RFC. Everything else should be the same minus the variables of waits, service, speed of food etc which can happen anywhere.

Chef mickeys. This was before my time but my parents told me that was their case when they honeymooned in the early 90s. Not sure if there was anything in that building before CM

What was in the DS RFC space before it was a RFC?

Opening in 1975 it was originally called the "Village Restaurant" and "Village Lounge". The Lounge was something of a Jazz Club that had live music and cover charge.

In 1980 it became Chef Mickey's Village Restaurant and the Lounge became a cartoon theater. It closed in 1995 to be developed into the Rainforest Cafe.

Oh is was a basic brown building, nothing like it looks now.
