Rainforest Cafe vs. T-Rex

If you've been to both, which one do you like better?

Also, is T-Rex geared toward little kids? I have a DS13 and was wondering if other teens think it's "lame".

They really are identical except for the theme. Both are part store, part restaurant, both have audioanimatronic figures, both have an event (rain storm/meteor shower) and the food is similar at both. We've been to both and like them equally. I'd say pick the one with the theme that sounds best to you and go with that one.

As for your teenager, mine love T-Rex. DS15 and DD17 both requested that we go again on our upcoming trip! It really isn't babyish at all...in fact some younger kids might find it scary with the large dinosaurs and loud noises.

We just went to T-Rex last week and my kids loved it. We all thought the food was better than the Rainforest Cafe, which my husband said he will never go to again. We would definatly go to T-Rex again.

The concepts are both the same, one has animals and one has dinosaurs, the prices are about the same.

I agree with the previous poster...both are equally enjoyable. Took 3 teenagers (DS15, DNephew 14, DD 13) to T-Rex on 8/21 and all three were fasinated by the theming and asked to go back when we head to WDW in 2010.
