This is more of a curiosity question.

My soon to be mother-in-law said she had a “volcano” dessert at several different Rainforest Cafés. At each one, they had lit sparklers on top. However, she said they must have changed them because the last one she got was at Animal Kingdom and it did not have sparklers. I suggested that it might be policy at that location only. Sort of like the balloon and straw policy in the park. Does anyone know if this is true?

Don't know about the one at AK, but here in CT they did away with the sparklers due to fire codes. They now put this stick with shiny silver streamers in it. Not the same:guilty: but I guess they have to keep everyone safe. Perhaps the fire codes have changed and they can't use the sparklers any more:confused3 HTH

PS - My kids still love it and we have to get it every time we go!

She did mention the silver streamers. I guess they changed it across the board.

Thanks for the response.
