Between rainforest cafe and donald's which one should we do for breakfast for the day we go to AK? I love character meals so we will be doing a lot of other character meals, but its gonna be like a $20 difference between the two. I am on the dining plan but we arent using the dining plan for breakfasts. We havent ate at either one before, but looking at the menus looks like u can eat way more at donalds then rainforest. But is it worth the additional $20?

We are doing Donald's for 2 reasons.

1. This is our only breakfast out the whole trip. We are going to be having light breakfasts in the room on the other mornings. We will surely get our money's worth because there is a TON of yummy breakfast food.

Our other reason is:

2. Our ADR is for 8am. We will be at the park before it opens. We will be some of the first people at Expedition Everest. We're planning on heading there right after breakfast, grabbing a FP then hopping in the (hopefully not very long) line. That way, we'll ride that E-ticket attraction early then have the rest of the day to see shows at AK, take the kids on the safari and maybe do Kali River Rapids.

That's the plan at least.

Hope this helps!

We are doing same things as OP. We have ADR at 8 a.m. at Donald's and then DH and DS will head to EE. We are also going there because we have not eaten there before and WE LOVE DONALD!!!

To tell you the truth, the Rainforest Cafe, doesn't have good food if you want an A+ meal. It's more of a B- meal. Donald's on the other hane has A+ food and is GREAT for children and adults!!! I would go there!

I did think of something. Since Donalds is a buffet, we could always eat a lot then skip lunch and just use a snack credit for a snack if we get hungry then eat dinner around 5 or 6. That way the CS credit we would have used for lunch that day at AK we could save it and use it for breakfast at the Mara one morning. I think we just might do Donalds now that I thought it more clearly.

I would go to Rainforest IF you don't plan on eating there any other time during your visit and if you ARE planning on doing anothe character meal. :thumbsup2
