Rainforest Cafe in Sept?

Our DS loves the rainforest and we might want to eat there on our first night but I really don't want to be tied to an ADR. Will we need one? We are planning on being in AK the first day.

Because you will be going during "free dining" there may not be a wait....Reason is that RC does not take the dining plan...

However, it usually does get crowded....I would say to make the ADR if you know you want to eat there...Just to be safe....Otherwise, you may have to wait....You could always call now just to see how many people have ADR for the day you want..That may help you figure out if you should grab a ADR now...But like I said, you can chance it because of the free dining.

I was thinking that maybe with free dining they would not be as busy! Great idea to call and check # of ADR's. Maybe I could make a later one then go early if we are hungry then. Thanks!

We have a ressie at the one at DD during our September trip. I don't think it should be too crowded during the week. Like the above poster, its not on the dining plan!

Depeding on the time your going the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney can get very busy, even though they are not on the DDP.
