Tried to make an ADR for November and only times available were 5:00 and after 9:00. If I walk up at 7:00 on a weekend how long will wait be? Will I get a table for 4?

Call Rain Forest Cafe directly for a reservation. Also, you can pay $25 for a Landry’s Card and that gives you the opportunity to just walk up. The $25 will then be credited on your Dining bill.

Probably wait for a long time on a weekend.

Check Open Table. There will probably be reservations available there. Non-Disney owned restaurants only release a small percentage of their reservations to Disney's ADR system.

Or, do like above, and call the restaurant directly.

Echoing the above advice to look into a Landry's Select Club card/membership - especially if you visit frequently and/or have restaurants near you. As previous poster indicated, you pay $25 but get a $25 credit that can be used at the meal. For every dollar spent you earn points toward a reward. You receive another $25 credit for use in your birthday month (can't combine welcome and bday credits). And you essentially get priority seating without a reservation (although I personally would probably continue to try for a reservation just to be safe). Yak & Yeti in Animal Kingdom is also a Landry's property, in case that was on your list as well.
