Rainforest Cafe Breakfast on the DDP

We are at 48 days to go and starting to rethink some ADRs.

Really need a breakfast on our AK morning. Right now Tusker has no openings, and that is my preference.

But I could get a pre-park opening at RAinforest Cafe. That would also be nice.

We have only done breakfast buffets with the DDP, never an actual menu for breakfast, so I was wondering what you get with your credits here. Are the yummy frozen (nonalcoholic) drinks included as a drink? Are you getting "ripped off" a little because you don't get dessert with breakfast? I'm not overly concerned with that part but I'm curious.

Also, how long should we expect the meal to take? I assume less time than a character breakfast?

I suppose it's possible to consider this a ripoff, but it is true you do not get a dessert at breakfast, nor is anything substituted for the dessert.

Even on free dining, I don't think I'd use a TS credit here. The prices are comparable to QS prices in the parks, so not only do you not get the dessert, but even with the fancy drinks, you're talking about a $15-16 value.

I was already starting to think this before you said it. I tallied up what I think we'd order and it came to $44 with a tip. Hardly a good use of 4 TS credits. We were going to end up paying OOP for one meal at the end (I was assuming a QS breakfast at the resort on checkout day) but it may make more sense to do this one.

That still leaves me with a TS credit to burn, though. Hmmm... Lots to think about!
