Rainforest Cafe at AK

Is the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom located in the park or is it just outside of the park so that we could go without using a park admission? We will be staying at the AKL and on a day when we aren't going to any of the parks we would like to be able to just head over there for lunch, but we don't want to use a park admission just to go for lunch. Thanks!

If you don't have a day set aside for DTD, there is one there too and you can just dine at it when shopping and exploring DTD.

I honestly don't know if RFC is located inside the park but I thought it was.

The Rainforest Cafe at AK is located at the entrance to the park, and you can enter the Rainforest Cafe without using a park admission. As you are walking toward the AK gateway, look to your left and you will see an entrance to the restaurant.

Thank you so much! That's great! We are going to be going to DTD one day but we wanted to try Earl of Sandwich when we are there, so knowing that Rainforest Cafe is just a short bus ride away sounds great!

I had the worst meal of my trip at RFC at AK in June. The service was not bad, the table was okay, but the food was absolutely the worst I have ever attempted to eat. It was inedible. DO NOT GET THE POT ROAST. It has very little meat in it, only gristle and fat and hard carrots.

Usually the pot roast is excellent. We have the dining plan free, but are paying to eat at the RFC because my son loves the pot roast.

If your son is a big pot roast fan, head to the Liberty Tree Tavern in MK for lunch. Their pot roast is heavenly.

Try 50's Primetime in MGM for the Pot Roast. It is really good there.

We love the RFC at AK but have never gotten the Pot Roast there.

The appetizer platter that the AK RFC is AWESOME!!!!! the best !
