Has anyone had breakfast at the AK location of Rainforest Cafe? How is it?

Really? No one has ever eaten breakfast there?

My hubby and I had breakfast there two weeks ago (haven't had time to write my review yet). I chose it because we had a gift card and were planning to visit the AK that day anyway.

I thought the food was fine ... overpriced (but what isn't at WDW?) but well prepared, with generous portions. They serve some kind of juice mixture that I can't remember the name of but which was surprisingly good.

We wouldn't go back, but that's primarily because it's such an out-of-the-way place for us to have breakfast. I did think their menu was a bit limited, but overall RFC was not a bad spot for the first meal of the day.

I've been there for breakfast, I thought it was great. Yes, overpriced, but less than lunch and dinner (and the portions were HUGE- a good place to share a plate) Esp. the Pie of the Viper.

We went right when they opened (either 30 or 60 minutes before the park opens, I forget exactly) and it was also so much quieter, because it just wasn't crowded at all. I don't know if that was a fluke, but it was great.

Thanks! It must not be that crowded...

Does anyone know if you can book an ADR through Disney Dining?

Yes, you can. That's how I booked our ADR. For what it's worth our reservation was at 8:30 on a Monday morning and it wasn't very busy (but there was a big tour group in a private room).

We've had breakfast there, too, on our AK touring day. We had a lunch reservation, but were getting hungry and went there a bit early. They only had the breakfast menu out, but we could've waited 15 mins for the lunch one.

The breakfast menu was great -- so we ordered breakfast and really enjoyed it. It was late enough that it was brunch, and we weren't hungry again until dinnertime.

Plus, it's air-conditioned in there. And not so busy for breakfast, so it was nice and relaxing. When we left they were well into lunch and there was a big line outside...

I think it's worth a try...:)
