Rainforest Cafe Appetizer ?

I am trying to make dining plans for our upcoming trip. I was thinking about having dinner at the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney (been there, love it). I have the Orlando Magicard and it can be used for a free appetizer of the day at RC. Does anybody know if this is an appetizer that is already on the menu or is it something off the menu? Is it a different one every day?

I can't answer your question, but I was curious about the stipulations to the free app. Do you have to order an dinner?

The brochure says "Free appetizer of the day with the purchase of an adult entree.".

When we joined the Rainforest Club we got a free appetiser and they chose which one or gave us a limited selection. But it wasn't a problem because the choice (if there was one) included the chicken quesadillas. They were *delicious!* I don't think you'll be disappointed-- go for it!

Where can I join the Rainforest Club? I went on their website but can't find any mention of it? I LOVE RFC

Just join when you get there. Your benefits start immediately, and you can enjoy it for a full year from that point. If you love RFC, it's a *great* deal and you just about get your money back the first two times you eat there between the free appetiser and the $10 gift certificate (they mail that with your "official paperwork").

They are the absolute best. I am a little ashamed to admit it but I think my hubby and I are more excited to get to the Rainforest Cafe than to Disney itself. HA HA!!! We have the club card and after check in.... that's our first destination. It's also the last place we eat before we go home!!!!!

If you have time, you can join the Safari Club by mail before you go. Then you get your $10 certificate in the mail with your card and can use it on your first visit. You may also get your birthday certificate ($5) if your birthday falls before your trip.

Unless things have changed since April, just make sure you use your card at least once a year to keep it active or you have to re-enroll.
