I am new to this so please bear with me. Actually going on our first WDW vacation Sept 12 - Sept 19. It will me, DH and our DS age 5. We are staying at the Pop, doing the free dining thing and also going to MNSSHP on Sept 15. Can't wait!!!
We booked our packag through SWA vacations. Anyways, my question is Rainforest Cafe part of the free dining plan? I have gotten differing info on this so I thought I would ask the experts.
I am making our ADRs and just wondering. Thanks a bunch!!

I am going bananas planning our itinerary. Actually I am probably borderline obsessed with it

Thanks for your fast response.
Maybe we'll do it anyways. What the heck it is our first real family vacation.
Actually really interested in the volcano dessert!!
We live in the woods in rural NH so there aren't any Rainforest chains nearby.
Thanks again

The portions are huge and tastes good. You should try RFC at least once, as its definetly an experience!

We are also going to RFC at AK and paying OOP. I have booked it for day 11 when we are off of the plan anyhow. The portions are big so we will probably share a meal and a dessert or else just get appys. MY DD really wants to go there - we went once when she was about 6 and she is now 18! :goofy: :donald: :mickeyjum

Please don't fall into that "dining plan" frame of mind. I found myself restricting where we would go based on that, then sat back and said "Hey, this is MY VACATION" "I'll go where I want"!!!! I got tired of figuring out what to pay OOP for and just made my ADR's for TS and WE WILL ENJOY!! Please consider doing the same! :cool1:

We just got back today, and we ate at Rainforest Cafe and paid OOP. I just told my kids this is not on the dining plan, so no appetizer and dessert, and order from the kids menu! :rotfl: The kid's portions are big.
They wanted to eat here since we do not live close to one, and we eat there everytime we go to Disney. We used the extra dining credit (we went there instead of using a CS credit) to get food to eat on our way home. We went to Sunshine Seasons and actually our 6 credits was enough to get breakfast and lunch for our return trip!

I made reservations at 407-938-9100 for the one at AK. Our ADR was for 12:00 and we only waited 10 minutes! :yay:
