this looks like the only option for lunch for the 7 of us for the day we will be there. I have to book table service with the grandchildren's allergies in order to talk to the chef. I don't see that Rainforest Cafe is an Allergy Friendly restaurant. It's usuallynoted on other menu's
Am I missing it?

We've dined there several times (as well as RFC's in other areas) and they are good with food allergies. A chef will come to the table to discuss options.

We looked into doing the Rainforest Cafe at Disneyland (assuming menu is similar) and they were able to accomodate our son's dairy allergy. Maybe WDW is different but I bet you'll be good?

Just out of curiosity, OP, which table service did you settle on for kids with food allergies? I know Disney is great in general about having a chef come out, but I'd love to know what you picked and what seemed easiest.

My son has a tree nut allergy and we have eaten at RFC in AK and Disney Springs. Both places were accommodating to his allergy.

My 3 grandsons, my son and I all have food allergies, and we all carry epipens its that serious. The allergies range from seafood, milk, wheat, eggs, nuts and I'm probably forgetting something. So the chefs really have their work cut out for them. We all went to Disneyland last year for a week and with all table service meals none of us had a bad meal with a lot of creativity by the chefs!

This trip to DW we booked Sanaa, Tiffins, Brown Derby, Chrystal Palace, and 4 character breakfasts so far. We are still working on the plans. It is a lot of table service meals & expensive, but the grandkids seemed to really enjoy it last year. They sat through 2 hour meals. Us adults love it too, we don't live in the same states so it's a treat to eat and talk together. I can't wait!

1) They do not have a separate Allergy Menu.
2) However, you can talk to the Chef or Manager regarding the allergies.
. . . be certain to make a note of allergies on the reservation
. . . make sure you tell the podium Host/Hostess (aka: "SEATER") that you have allergies
3) Most of RF's menu items are preset, so the Chef needs to really go off-the-menu.
4) Based upon the type and severity of the allergy(ies), the Chef may or may not be able to be accommodate you.

NOTE: We have visited Rain Forrest Cafes in other countries (eg: Piccadilly Circus and Dubai), and have heard good and bad stories of allergies.
