Rainforest Cafe ADR's? & more questions!

Since Rainforest Cafe is a national chain, do you make reservations through the WDW Dining number, or separately? Also has anyone been there for breakfast? Did you like it?

I called on the first day that we could make our 90 day out reservations for July and Ohana's was already booked for breakfast on the 2 days we could've gone. Well, they had an opening at 7:40am, but I'm not too sure that my
2 1/2 yr old would appreciate that early rise! So, I'm looking for a different option that might not be quite so packed....is it normally as packed as the character meals?

Their location at Downtown Disney Marketplace does not take ADR's made by WDW Cast Members, so you need to call them directly to make reservations. For their location at the Animal Kingdom WDW Dining Cast Members are able to make ADR's.

I went there for lunch a while back and it was not too packed.

I don't really think it matters if breakfast actually tastes very good, the reason most go there is because of the theme. If you have not ever been to one, its pretty cool. There are numerous huge fish tanks, jungle scenery, animatronic animals, a really cool looking roof with stars and staged thunder storms every once in a while.

The RFC is so fun for kids. We have never eaten breakfast there, but eat lunch or dinner every trip. I have never not been able to get a reservation. If you don't make a reservation and go at a busy time you can have quite a wait. There is a link on this board for a RFC Safari Club discount - $10 to join rather than $15 - it has been worth the $ for us over the years.
