I know the ponchos at the dollar stores are cheaper, but I thought a raincoat would be something my DD 3yo could use for a while and still remind her of WDW. :umbrella: I was wondering if anyone had an idea of how much they were? Or is there a place I could buy one before we leave?

TIA

This doesn't exactly answer your question... but I was able to find raincoat disposables instead of the poncho ones at the dollar store. They have snaps down the front. They were actually quite sturdy, and we still on occasion use one we purchased for our trip 2 years ago! I found them great for my girls, because they are super light and if it does rain, you can just fold them up and stick them in a ziploc bag when you're done. They also gave them better mobility then pobchos. I've seen them at Wal-Mart in Canada for 97 cents in the girls' dept. by the umbrellas.

Thanks for the info. Does anyone else have any ideas about raincoats? :umbrella:

I can't remember exatly how much the rain ponchos were ($7 maybe??), but here's another pitch for disposable. It was SO nice to just toss the soppy wet things when the shower passed and not have to lug them around. I bought a slew of the cheapo ones and just put a few in my pack each day. We were always prepared and didn't have to bother with stuffing the wet ones back in our bags. I'd buy the Disney one and save it for home :)
