Rain is in the forecast on Sunday when we arrive with our 3 year old and 1 year old. I'm bringing extra shoes and I've bought the ponchos. Hopefully will be getting the double stroller cover tomorrow--if I can't find one, I'm really in deep doodoo.
My question is: Do I really want to brave the parks in the rain with kids this small? I think I can cut a poncho to fit the 3 yo, but the 1 year old seems to small for a poncho. What kind of rain gear can I get him?
Will the stroller cover really protect the double stroller? How do I dry it if it gets wet?
Any advice on how to keep the kids from getting sick if we have to spend the day in the wet rain, then the A/C?
We are staying at the Dolphin. Are there alternatives to going to the parks if it's really raining too hard? My 3 year old will not be happy spending the entire day in the hotel room, although he will watch tv for a couple of hours if the right thing is on.
Thanks,
Sherri

Babies R Us has them. I'm heading there as soon as my dh gets home from work, and before he has to go to his second job--gotta have the money for this trip! Hopefully, the Babies R Us will have a nice one, if not the same brand.
