Rain, Surprise Birthdays, Rain, First Visits -(Ginny is deceased-Prayers for her.)

LOL! Thanks for the baby!! Can't wait to meet him/her!!! LOL! :rotfl:
Music is my thing, listen to it all. I'm usually pretty good at games like that. Especially good at naming the movie a song came from!!!

Awwwww....the name was right on the tip of my tongue!

Yes, The name does not go with the words at all. I don't remember the title words ever mentioned and I pretty much know all those words.

Everybody laughs when I tell them that is my fav song. I am so outside the box.

Me too. I love all music and have an eclectic mix. Well, all but country. Not my fav unless it is bluegrass or the really old stuff. Marty Robbins and the old baby sitter Porter Waggoner of course. Show tunes are the best. My grandma had every show album out there in the 40's, 50's and 60's so I have all of those. I have purchased almost all of them since.

I knew you would like that gift I gave you. Like I had anything to do with the little darling. I too am anxious to meet him/her.

Darn, I wish I had guessed it b/c then I could have had a baby. Oh, well! I'm glad Dee got it. She's gonna be a great mom!!!!!

I still would have never guessed it b/c I don't listen to Queen. Who's Queen? :confused3 :rotfl:

The teacher will give you a condensed version of Queen.

1. the best English rock band ever. Yes, better than the Beetles.
2. Freddie Mercury died 1991
3. Started in 1970
4. 85' live aid concert # 1 ranked of all Live aid concerts
5. 1975 Bohemian Rhapsody
6. Top Songs: We are the Champions, Somebody to Love, A Day at the Races, Bicycle Race, Fat Bottomed Girls, We Will Rock You ( I know you know this. You can't go to a football game and not hear it), Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Another One Bites the Dust, A Kind of Magic, Innuendo

All in a nutshell. Very talented muscians. You must listen.

OK! late to the party... I knew earlier it was Queen...was hmmming along...one of my all time FAVORITES. But, I was waiting for Danny so I could sing it to him...I NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER REMEMBER SONG TITLES--know all the words, the melody (I like that word--isn't it a pretty one, a really good friend of mine that is her name :upsidedow ).
So, glad Dee won--I have enough at the moment with our little Ashton & Chloe (although she goes home!)
:wave2:

I was counting on Dee or Mel cause I knew you and Lisa weren't ready for more.

That is a crazy song title for the song. Could you tell I kinda like Queen. i knew Danny would know. He is good with songs for sure.

I like the word melody too. Esp. for girl friends.

I hope Ashton has enjoyed his day with Chloe.

Ginny-

I love the picture of the boys---so great! It is nice to see such a wonderful family!

I know most of these songs. Yep, we sang we will rock you at nearly all of our pep rallys! Crazy Little thing called love is a favorite! Just didn't know Queen was who sang it! :rotfl: I'm terrible, I know.

You're so sweet, Connie! Whenever I hear the word "Melody" in a song, I think they're talking about me! :goodvibes

I know you've got your hands full, honey! At least one goes home at night, like you said. Good thing, huh? :cutie: Although I'm sure you'd keep her in a heartbeat.

So glad to see you back. I love that picture of them too. I love to push the button on that frame and listen to every voice say 'love you'. Austin's is so deep and Andrew's (bless his heart) varies from deep to pitchy and little Alex's. Don just said he was glad it was AAA batteries cause he couldn't afford those other kind. :rotfl: I'd buy them anyway. What he doesn't know won't hurt me.

Have a great evening.

Ginny

I would take little one's too. If I could send them home when I'm done.

I knew you had to know their music. They made lots of good stuff.

My goodness, Ginny! You were up late last night!

I've already had a busy, busy morning, but hoping things to slow down just a bit before long. Too many people before I've been able to eat my breakfast makes for me a grumpy day!

Hoping your day goes well. :goodvibes

So far so good this morning. I am getting a cold and I went to bed at 11 but got up at 1 coughing so bad that I couldn't stop so got up til about 2:30. Still coughing this morning but I found some Robutussin cough pills in my glove box to take today. Christine is back and is going to work my late nite tonite and tomorrow for me. She is a good worker and a good Christian lady. I feel lucky to have her.

I'm getting my new all in one printer today. It is so exciting.

I had my fiber one bar for breakfast and in an hour will have my most delicious green banana.

You have a great day. I must clean the desk since I didn't even sit at it yesterday.

Be sure to give my Mitchell a hug and kiss from me

Ginny

Ginny, sorry to hear you are coming down with a cold  Mel is like me know the songs, just not who sang them; although in my case I know the group not the names

Happy for you that Christine is there today and you can take it easy and go home early...and I'm sorry but yuk! a "GREEN" banana; why?!? :rotfl:

Have a great day!

I'm still froggy this morning. One would think that 4 cups of coffee would help.

Depends on the group if I know the leads. I just have some crazy favorites.

We always buy green bananas cause I don't like them once they get a spot or too yellow. I would eat the green ones then Don would play cleanup. Well, he has learned if he wants one he has to eat the green ones too cause I would eat them all. Now I don't want them green as gourds but they must be firm and no black spots on the peel or spots inside. I throw them away. I am so wastefull.

I forgot to tell you girls that Don got hurt at work last week. He was stepping off his fork lift and slipped on something wet on the concrete. Landed on his left shoulder and elbow. He has had trouble with his elbow for a while. Something to do with the way the fork drives. I think it is tendonitis. So now his neck is killing him. He did report it and a safety officer did see him fall. He finished his day and worked Friday but by Sunday he was miserable and even throwing up due to the pain.

I told him to go to the w/c stupid lady when he got to work. There was no problem and she sent him straight to the dr. After x-rays revealing spurs at
C7-T2 level with radiculopathy. (that means pain running down the arm) he got sent to therapy. He has therapy every day and sees the Dr. on Tuesday and might go back to work on Wednesday depending on what the Dr. says. He can't lift his head up and back. Being on a fork that is all he does is look up. He is enjoying being off which is good with me. Maybe it will make him realize he wants to retire in 2010 instead of waiting till 2011. I would be all for that for sure.

It is nice when I come home at night. The kitchen is clean and dinner is ready.

Oh! you get spoiled easy!!! :upsidedow

I hope Don feels better soon! therapy should help soon! Just hope he does not get bored while staying home or he might push retirement back later than 2011! :rotfl:

Or you can start helping to see the potential of your new pond and waterfeature in your yard and so on so on

do hope he feels better

He was going to work on all of computer DVD's he has going on but it hurts to sit at his desk. Today he is getting out his laptop and working on it in his comfortable chair. Just think if I were home for him he would never be bored. :rotfl2:

Yes, I would like it if he felt like working on the waterfeature for me but I know he doesn't so I will keep my big mouth shut. We all know how hard that is. He says the therapy is helping but he really likes the lady that gives him a back and neck massage when it is done.:rotfl:

Oh, sorry you are getting sick! I hope that you get to feeling better soon. Thank goodness for your co-worker, huh?

I'm excited that you are getting a new printer. It's so nice to get new things at the office that make your job easier. I've had the same dinosaur printer for the last eight years, and it was probably here eight years before I got here. Sometimes it works, sometimes it eats my paper, but it doesn't do any good asking for a new one. :headache:

I had a fiber bar for breakfast, also. It took me forty-five mintues to eat b/c of all of the people and phones here today.

Oh, I can't do a green banana. Mine have to have spots on them before I can eat them, otherwise I end up with a terrible belly ache. If it is even a hint too hard or green, I have to pass.

Sorry Don had that unfortunate fall. That sounds terrible! :guilty:

I hope he's all better soon and healed up. And I'll keep my fingers crossed that the time away from work will help him to decide to retire sooner, rather than later! FINGERS CROSSED ON BOTH HANDS!
