Rain, Surprise Birthdays, Rain, First Visits -(Ginny is deceased-Prayers for her.)

Good morning, Ginny! I hope you had a great Christmas. I hope you get your laptop fixed soon. Have a great day!

I am going to go buy a new power cord at noon. My geek guy said to start there as it was cheaper than a battery.:confused3

Good morning, Ginny. Hope you enjoyed your Clam Chowder soup at Red Lobster and had a good evening. I had a wonderful surprise when I got home last night and got the mail and went into the house to open it: two birthday cards -- one from you and one from Lisa. Thank you, dear friend.

The chowder was just what I wanted it to be. I had a great afternoon and evening. We had leftovers for dinner. Tonite I'm making a pot of soup.

I'm so glad you got your card. I mailed that from the little town my mom is at. They said they had Sat pickup. I was worried. I hope you have a good Birthday week. I hope you have started celebrating. You know mine lasted a month but a week is good too. Ejnoy and get everything you want.

Have fun at lunch with Austin. Happy New Year! party:

Good morning April. And the same with you. Happy New Year! Of course the way Don and I party, he will be in bed by 9 and I will sit up till about 1:30 watching junk and playing computer games. What a life we lead.

Have a great day.

Ginny

Aren't you a sweetheart. It is full of chit-chat as you know. I just can't stay on one subject all the time. A little ADHD?

I have read your last year's ptr and tr, just failed to comment. Bad me. I started your new ptr last night and haven't commented yet but I will when I catch up. We have so many friends in common it is only fitting we be also.

Thank you for reading.

Ginny

happy new year!

I hope you are enjoying your time off. I just got Christmas all cleaned up. Tonite is the night I get to fix fried mushrooms and fried chicken gizzards. Yummy? Aust and Don will enjoy. I'll make me a chicken breast and mashed potatos.

I am still in PJ's.

I agree, we have too many friends in common not to follow along with each other. I still have a little to go (what a huge TR you have!). Your family is just gorgeous and seem so fun! I love that you were able to pull off the surprise. My husband and I and my brother bought my parents a Disney Fairytale Wedding package for Christmas this year...that was the hardest secret to keep. My mom and I have the same relationship as you and your girls. We talk almost every day.

I promise to finish up by the end of the weekend. The little ones want to have some hot chocolate tonight and I am off to make sure they get it. Hope you are having a wonderful evening.

We start the day at Epcot once again. It is raining and all of a sudden we turned on our brains and bought, yes, I said bought, 9 ponchos. Doesn't matter that Sheri had 6 back at the resort that we have never bothered to dig out and bring. Let's buy new ones. Now that we have managed to get soaked the previous 3 days.

Poncho's purchased we hit Whatever the name is Coca Cola booth. All names escape me at this hour so I will just have to show in pictures. I knew about the Beverly and no one else did. I had prime prospects entering the building. Sheri was late as she had to make a pit stop somewhere first. So by the time she arrived I had managed to capture everyone having a "taste test"

Mike was my first guina pig as we were celebrating his Birthday week

Then Sandi for her Birthday celebration

TIm thought they were actually joking so we convinced him to try.
P5270168.jpg

Austin was so busy laughing as Sandi tossing her cookies in the trash can that it took him a minute to try.
P5270172.jpg

Andrew thought they were nuts so he tried. He refused to say it tasted bad.
P5270169.jpg

Ok, I tried it.
P5270171.jpg

Of course Don wouldn't cause he thinks all soda tastes like that anyway.

We couldn't convice Sheri to try it after what she walked in on.

We then headed to World Showcase. We adults had decided to drink our way around the world. I think the rain put a littlel damper on our outcome. We did manage to have a grand time anyway. Sandi and Austin decided they wanted to pose for pictures at every country. They always manage to do something goofy when they are together. Thank goodness it was just pictures they wanted.

I will let our pictures speak for the awesome, wonderful time Epcot was for us on that day.

Alex and Austin had to have berets in France.

And here is Sheri's mini meltdown of the whole trip. Trust me each of us girls had one. But since I was the one with the camera we didn't get my picture.

And our final of Epcot is only fitting of Austin telling it goodbye.

My final thoughts of Epcot: I love it. The last time we were there parts of the World Showcase had just opened. Now remember this was a long time ago. The girls weren't crazy about it so they stayed at MK and Don and I stayed at Epcot. ( Call me the bad mom. I would never ever do anything like that again. Times were different.)

I love the rides they had. Soarin, totally awesome and TT such fun. We so enjoyed being together as a family in such a wonderful place. I admit we can easily make our own fun and we do but the magic of Disney adds to that fun and makes everyone feel so special and fulfilled.

Coming up: DHS

I love your pictures so much. I always feel like I am a part of your family when you share them with us. I am so thankful for the Dis bringing all of us together. I know I am being mushy, the fever has me that way..:lmao:. But seriously I truly feel blessed. And about the melt down, I always have one too. It is usually after I have done everything everyone else wants to do, but what mom wants to do is lame........:sad2:.

I loved the pictures of the poses around World Showcase. You should tell Austin that next time he poses by a fountain he should take his shirt and shoes and socks off to make it look like he is going to swim in it. :rotfl2:

I don't know what to say.Actually i am just a newbie in this forum but i am really happy to be in this site.:)

Oh Ginny, what a bad mother/mother-in-law/grandmother you are.....sneaking in the Beverly to unsuspecting victims. Yes, I called them victims.

Don't feel bad about buying new ponchos when you had perfectly good ones back at the resort. We did the same thing in 2007.

I absolutely adore the pictures of Sandi and Austin. Lord help us if my family and your family ever go to Disney together. We'll never have any serious pictures.

Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! I love the photos of the reactions to the soda & all of the world showcase ones. I hope you have a great day. I'm looking forward to your next update!

Dana, you are so kind. You are part of my family. We just aren't together like we want to be.

Welcome to my little trip report. Austin did want to do that but his Aunt Sandi said no way cause then she knew her Alex would want to do it and he would jump in. That would have been a hoot.

Welcome to the Dis. I hope you will feel as I do that we are one big happy family. Only, we don't bicker. Negative thoughts are to be left at the door. We are discussing Disney afterall. Well, after we chat about lots of other things. We are a friendly group of people.

I was evil and enjoyed every minute of it. Mike tore his poncho up right away. It is a neck issue (he say's it wouldn't fit over his fat head). We would have such great fun together. Disney would never be the same. I bet we could get something named after us. :rotfl:

Good morning April. Hope you are having a great day as well.

We have snow!!! I'm not liking it one bit but I managed to get myself to work. The roads were pretty clear and they even did our street yesterday. We are to get another 5 inches or so on Wednesday.
