I had forgotten to mention that after being so wet during the previous evening when we went back to MK none of us wanted to get wet again so we bypassed Splash on this visit.
Before starting with our second full day there are two things one should know about me. 1. I am petrified of heights. God made me 5'3" for a reason and it is no climbing. I cannot even stand on a step stool. It is pretty bad and
2. I don't do roller coasters. Now I know I told you I did BTMR at MK but I don't consider that a real roller coaster. It is like the one we have here in our area at Silver Dollar City in Branson called Thunderation. I have ridden that at least 100 times when my grandchildren were smaller and they needed an adult with them. I have NEVER ridden it with my eyes open. So I have no idea what it is really like. I have this knack of closing my eyes and pretending to be in the ocean on a raft watching the world go by. Works everytime.
So on with the show: It is Monday, Memorial Day. We figure the parks will be packed. We decided to sleep in since we had 2 late nights in a row and leave
the park to go to Bahama Breeze for lunch. Thanks to the old American Express I had a $100.00 gift certificate.

The food was very good. We do not have one of these restaurants anywhere near us so it made a nice change.
We got to AK around 1 p.m. and it was full. I will say it was not raining yet!
While everyone was taking a break we come upon who Alex calls "The Blue Bottom Boy". Grandpa wanted a picture with him and made Alex join in.

I had a couple of other cute ones but photobucket and I sometimes have issues.
After that picture taking episode we head over to ride Dinosaur first thing. Don does not do roller coasters either (or most other rides for that matter) so he sat out and watched the belongings. We had to get the redneck picture.

Now thanks to the boards I knew when the picture was coming up so I could act my usual stupid self. Tim is choking Sandi, Austin is being his silly self and not too sure what the others are doing.
I have come to the conclusion that I am going to be 60 and if I don't do it now, I will never do it. So might as well go all out.
When we left Dinosaur it was raining. We went to see if we could fp's for EE. It was shut down and since we were so late in the day we couldn't get fp's for anything. It was time for the parade so off we went to watch. It was very hot and crowded. We did find a good place to stand and watch. I have some good pictures but my favorite one is this:

Now what I like about this picture is what you don't see. Tim is giving Minnie the old call me sign and standing behind him is Mike with rabbit ears on Tim's head. The competion with these grown men over a cute girl is something else.
I have lots more but it is time to work once again so I will finish this one this evening.
