Hello all

we have a trip planned starting Saturday and weather is looking pretty crazy. All the days we are there will be high chance of rain and thunderstorms.

Last time we did WDW we never had to deal with rain.

On our arrival day we have 3 fastpasses booked starting at 2pm with 11 arrival at Airport. . If our flight is delayed how flexible is WDW with regards to honoring FP?

any strategies we should consider during these types of weather events? We plan on bringing ponchos and umbrellas.

Rain check!! My daughter worked Guest Relations at the Magic Kingdom on her Professional Internship and told us that guests did come in occasionally and ask for a rain check. They did not have any to give, but they did ask.

You can’t change the weather so go with it. Waterproof shoes or quick dry shoes and clothes.. we wore keen sandals ..
It keeps local crowds away and crowds leave and may not come back post rain .
We did Some inside rides shopped and actually sat and took our time at lunch ..
We ended up soaked and actually had a ton of fun laughing running between shelter and it was prob one of our most memorable days :)
Have fun

I have never altered my plans for rain

Yes we plan on sticking it out but our biggest concern is our arrival day. I only have about 2hr of wiggle room to work with before my FP expire and my BOG adr. I am hoping no flight delays.

Yeah some nasty stuff is headed that way. We are getting it all day tomorrow. Good luck! I absolutely hate going to the parks in the rain.

There is a 15 minute grace period after your FP end time. Otherwise, they won’t let you in after your FP time. You can try and move them on the app if you think you will be late but they will be subject to availability and may be booked.

You can't change the weather, but, it does mean that parks may be quieter and if you are lucky and in the MK then you may catch the Rainy Day Parade, which is absolutely lovely.

I was in DHS last year when it bucketed down in the evening, there were rumours the Star Wars fireworks had been cancelled, but, it cleared up and the fireworks had not been cancelled at all. There was hardly anyone there and it was fab.

Unless it is unbearably torrential and cold I would just carry on and have fun.
