Okay.....should how many of the dollar tree ponchos should I buy? One for everyday I am there? I am better off buying the ones in the park. Leaving on the 7th of july for 9 days with DD 8 and 9. Thanks.

Yes, I would say one for every day you're there. You may not need them all, but good to be able to just pitch them on your way out. Or put them in a bag once you get to the car.

We were there 4 days, and had needed them 3 days. One thing about the Dollar Tree ponchos - they stick to you. My dd really didn't like that at all. But it was WELL worth it as we wore them while waiting to see Illuminations - it was POURING down rain and we were SO glad we stuck it out. I really wish I would have gotten a picture - we were pathetic, but glad we saw it.

We leave on 7/8! My family will be the ones in the flaming orange Coleman disposable ponchos. I've purchased 12 so far and we'll be in Orlando for 11 days.

In the past, I've been able to get 2 or 3 days out of each poncho before I toss it. I just keep a Ziplock bag in my fannypack to put them in when we're done with them and when we get back to the room, I hang them up on hangers to dry out.

Folding them back into that neat little square can be a challenge but I've gotten it down to a science now. The trick is to squeeze as much of the air out as you possibly can before making another fold.

I would recommend taking at least 3 per person for your trip, especially if you plan to be in the parks everyday. It rains just about every afternoon in the summer and you'll be better prepared to face the elements.

Just came back for Dsiney. We bought rain Mickey yellow ponchos at Sams Club near Disney. There was a total of 6 in each set. They had adult and children sizes. The price was around 16.00 for set. I have the agree with MomlovesDad my kids hated the cheap poncho they do stick to you.
