Rain, rain go away

It has been raining all morning here. How is the weather where you live? Good thing it doesn't flood in the mountains.

It's been sprinkling on and off all day here in Erie Pa! It would have been a great day to play hooky and sleep in!

All the rain is supposedly heading our way...for the rest of the week . They're already talking about flooding and it hasn't even started raining yet. I live on the side of a mountain, but our basement floods when the ground gets really saturated, and it's definitely saturated now.
But for the next couple hours at least, it's just really cloudy and cold.

Its coming here soon and won't leave till late thurs. so far the weatherman said. Not good for ds lifeguard job. But they do give him a few hours in the clubhouse sometimes if alot of kids come to hang out. Guess I might schedule a movie, we havent seen any all summer, just never any time.

They are saying it will clear later and be nice the rest of the week but we'll see...call me suspicious!

It is quite cool as well for tis time of year....yuck

Yeah what is up with the cool weather? I don't think it has hit 90 degrees at all this summer, at least here.
Plus it is still raining, has not stoped once since I first posted this thread.

Yup.... raining today and predicted for tomorrow. DD's 9th birthday party (pool party) was supposed to be tomorrow, but we called the girls and they were all able to reschedule to Thursday so we are postponing until then! Weather report looks better for that day. ........................P

It wasn't raining here until a few minutes ago. I came and read this post, but didn't have anything to add. Then just a few minutes later the rain started. Maybe you need to put a warning on this thread.

It's been pretty rainy off and on...but I don't mind because I love the rain !

Rain! Has been raining since Sunday and is supposed to continue for most of the week. Flood warnings in my county. Have hardly seen the sun all summer, when it's not raining it's gray and gloomy But I guess I should not complain, 2 years ago the drought was so bad, we were rationing water, turning off public sinks, closing car washes etc.
