Rain ponchos

Weird question- but what color of rain ponchos do they sell at Disney? I was going to pick some up before our trip and would like to get some that don't blend in with what everyone else has!

Also, do the cheap .89 ones from Walmart hold up for a whole week or should I get the more heavy duty ones for all of us? I honestly have never used them before, so I have no idea!

I believe the ones sold at Disney are clear (with a mickey on it)

The ones that are cheap (like less than a dollar) are meant to be used once. They are really flimsy, and don't fold back up nicely.

I bought a bunch for our trip in May, and because they take up no room in a backpack, I would bring them with me everyday. I only ended up using them once, and when the rain stopped, we threw them away.

Of course you could try to get more than one use of out them.

we took about 10 of thoes walmart ones with us, it was cheep enough that we could threw them out as soon as we were done on one trip...

the next trip in sept we though we might need more of them so we took the more pricey ones, that were about $3 a peice at the dollar store but thicker and we used them over and over and let them dry at night in our rooms...

We took the dollar ones from Walmart and because we bought them and remembered them it didn't rain!! I am hoping for the same thing this Feb

We took a bunch of the 2 for $1 ones from the Dollar Tree for using on the rides. Took the old Mickey ponchos from a previous trip in case it rained. You will want to bring your own, because on our last day at EPCOT the Heavens opened wide and drenched everyone. The crowds started flooding Mouse Gear to buy ponchos- $6.99 EACH!! We didnt have ours with us (it hadnt rained ALL week and we forgot to throw them in that day- there was a chance of a shower) and we ended up buying 2 umbrellas to make it to the busses. We were on our way out anyway so didnt need ponchos and it was cheaper for 2 umbrellas ($10 each) to use for the 4 of us. We put DD8 in her Volo stroller and covered her with huge shopping bags the CM gave us. One over her feet up to her knees and one we ripped a hole in and put over her head to cover her upper body and one we wrapped around her head. DH, DD16 and I shared the 2 umbrellas. I figured we would use the umbrellas more after we returned home and they have a famous Mouse on them!!
