I am excited to see a little rain on the forecast this weekend.:umbrella:
Being a Seattle native, I don't mind a bit and I'm hoping it will keep the crowds at bay?!
Here's to hoping!:flower:

It rained when we were there in January and it didn't keep that many people away :(

From what I'm seeing in the long range forecast, it's not a little bit, it's all next week. I'm a native of the desert, and it's making me nervous. Just ordered rain boots and ponchos for the whole family (which we will never use again).

Honestly I would not put much faith in the forecast for next week, or this weekend. Southern California isn't exactly reliable for anything past a 5 day forecast. And it's only like a 40% chance, and that's more like a no compared to a yes for rain.
And the rain doesn't help with the crowds all that much if that is what you are hoping.

Looks like rain on Sunday and then showers for the next few days. Hopefully it won't put a damper on anyone's big trip plans (pun intended) but will just keep the big crowds down. We'll all have a great time regardless.

Yes, that is what I'm hoping regardless of how futile my hope is! Trying to put a positive spin on it.

I love your positive spin! Our park days are Sunday - Thursday, every time I check the forcast there is a better chance of rain. I'm faking a positive attitude in front of my kids, and chewing my fingernails off when they're not looking:-).

I mean, if people are going there on a trip, they will likely still go, but it may keep locals away. My friend went at the beginning of January when LA got POUNDED with rain. He said it was REALLY bad, but they were prepared (and all adults) and it got better later in the day and they had the parks to themselves by that point. Front row for everything, no lines, but they had to deal with some pretty bad storms and didn't have young kids to wrangle.

There are two ways to do RSR in the rain - cautiously or ... otherwise! Just go for it! :P We did have a bit of trouble in DCA in the rain because there were fewer rides protected or indoors, but people really did clear out once it was clear it wasn't a passing shower. Probably the only time we've been entering and met with a load of people exiting! And yes, I did pay 10 bucks for a DL poncho because I too hoped it would pass and then we didn't want to walk back to the hotel to grab the cheap ones I'd brought!

And of course I loved seeing this!
