I know this may sound like a dumb question, but isn't it kind of nice when it rains? I'm going in June and I kinda hope it does rain a bit in the afternoons. Not hoping for major sotrm/rain, but I would think it might be nice to get wet when it's so hot in the afternoons. Do any of you just forgo the ponchos?

YES and sometimes it clears out the park as well.

We wear good water shoes and board type shorts with quickdry shirts so the rain just helps keep us cool.

Even on bad rain days there is so much to do you just learn how to duck in and out of stores and so forth.

Rain ....yes I like it

Torrential Downpours ...No !!

What's amazing about the rain in late June is how it can be torrential in one park and perfectly clear in the next one over. What it has taught us is to NOT waste time at a Water Park, because if lightning is even sighted, it's "clear the park" and you have to get out. Yuck :sad2: We pack 2 sets of $1 ponchos per person and just enjoy the heck out of the "park clearers" when they hit. Gals: make sure you have hair that will survive. This is where baseball caps and visors are invaluable--don't let a little damp hair-do spoil the day at Disney! ASMo here we come!! :woohoo:

I'd love to see rain in June or better yet, NOW. It has been very dry here. We've started having grass fires. We don't need that. I've been doing my rain dance, but no go so far. BRING ON THE RAIN!!!

We were there once during June and saw rain on a couple of evenings. As I remember it was actually refreshing. LIke someone said, ducking in and out of shops helps

Will see that everyday shower around 3 or so . . . and I have seen them come up at night in June -- even no fantasmic on one trip -- just go with the flow and be prepared -- we like river sandals, just be prepared

We were in Disney last year end of May and beginning of June.....1st June it poured down all day, every day for 4 days........just like being in England!!
