Rain Forest Cafe Menu Question

Just been looking at the Rainforest Cafe menus and wondered what 'Napa Vegetables' are?

Anyone eaten there?

I can only imagine that these are vegetables grown in California's Napa Valley which is as famous for its produce as it is its wines...

We ate there a few years ago when the kids were younger (6 & 8) and they thoroughly enjoyed it although I felt it was a bit overpriced for what you got. But last time we went the kids had no intrest in going again...

Napa vegetables is a slaw of slivered bell pepper, cabbage, jicama, red onion, cucumber and raisins.

When you say 'slaw', does that mean it has mayo with it or are the vegetables just cooked all together?

It comes with a sweet vinaigrette-style dressing, it's not mayonnaise based. Slaw is just a word for cabbage based salad.

if you plan on eating there a lot would advise on joining there adventurs club where you get a discount and priority seating (not offered by disney to the one at downtown disney so worthwile to get it)only problem is that as uk resedents they will not ship card to uk so you have to keep the one that you fill in when you join think it costs $10 or $15 well worth it

We went to the AK one, and TBH it wasn't as good as the one in Shaftesbury Avenue in London. Been to the London one a couple of times (both times I seemed to be sitting next to the parrot which repeated itself every 30 seconds...) and really like the veggie burgers. But the ones at AK were nowhere near as good.

We ate at the one in DTD and the food and the service was excellent. We will be deffinately eating there again next year.

been to a couple around the world and yet to have a bad meal. i enjoy the themeing alot and try and typically ask to be sat next to the fish as its lovely to watch them as you eat. it is a little pricey but i think the quality is worth it. at least the times i've eaten there.

We went to the AK RC a few years ago, but I felt it was lacking in both service and food quality in comparison with the London RC. One of the only times something in England wins against its American counterpart, though!

I've never been to any apart from London and I thought it was very shabby and the food wasn't particularly good on either of my two visits. I was toying with going to the one at AK but if the London one is superior I'll definitely give it a miss.

i would say the same about the london one the one we had up here in manchester was good but they closed it down and would always pick the one at DD over the one at AK every time

We went to DTD RC and it is was truly the best sit down meal we had the food was great and the waiter was a hoot. My 3 boys loved it. My 2 yr old was a bit worried about the thunderstorm though, the waiter hugged him whenever it started and pointed out the monkeys swinging and the parrot to attract his attention away from the dark.
I would thorouhly reccomend it. We also did not feel it was too pricey it cost us 50,00 for the three boys two adults and a huge dessert that we all shared.

We just had lunch at the one in Toronto (Yorkdale shopping centre) yesterday. It is 35 degrees c here so coming out to the car we really got into the Disney feel. Only a month to go we can't wait.
