Tomorrow is our 180 day mark for dining ressies. I was playing around online, in preparation, and came across this for the Rain Forest Cafe at AK (it can be found by clickingon the "view participating dining plans" up in the paragraph where general restaurant info is when you go in and "mock" up a reservation as I was)

(The table wont copy and paste properly so I'll have to try and explain it). We're doing the delux dining plan....and according to this chart, the DxDP isn't "accepted", but the regular DP is, and so are the premium and platinum plans?? Can that possibly be? AK is our most difficult park to eat at, due to DS's uber-pickiness, and I was relieved that they finally added RFC to the DDPs....This throws an unexpected loop in our plans...or is it just a "haven't added all the correct info online" sort of situation?

I saw the same when I reserved the Rainforest Cafe at DTD. DxDDP shows the dashes and the rest including reg DDP is "1". I figured I just ignore it because the restaurant clearly is on the brochure for DxDDP and probably just a glitch to the chart. Hopefully that is the case! :)

We went last Nov. We had Free dining plan. 9 nights. We used one of our TS there when we went to AK day. The CM told my wife that it was on the plan. Never went into an elaborate detail of which one it was actually on. To our surprise when we sat down they told us no it's not on the DP. Just the Deluxe DP. So being that we were already there and we had used 2 TS for thr Mickeys Bakyard BBQ, we just paid OOP. We were a lil upset about this info at 1st, but it wasn't a big deal. The place is awesome & the food & service is actually very good. So to answer your question. I believe you'll be ok with DxDP. Just Dbl. check.

All of the restaurants that accept the regular DDP will accept the DxDDP. It is an error on the dining reservation page. If you check the dining plan pdf you will see it listed. This is it's first year on the dining plan so last year it may have been on the Premium and Platinum programs, but not on the dining plan.
