Does the railroad operate during the 3pm parade?
We shall be arriving around 3pm and know that trying to get down main street at that time will be almost impossible. We were thinking of boarding the train round to Frontierland. Thanks

No. They close off the entry points to the station at Main Street anyway. I know this for sure as we watched the parade from the station last May. Best viewing spot in the park IMO.

I was thinking of viewing from the station next trip! how long before the parade began did you have to stake-out your spot?

An hour I'm afraid. We specifically wanted to see the Malificnet dragon from this height so invested the time. We took a snack, I had a nap and my daughter caught up on Instagram!!!!! For me it's worth the time investment. But then again the parades are my favourite part of the MK.

That's not too bad, thanks. We always choose a speck well beforehand anyway and sit, rest up and eat while we wait for the parade to start. I watched the Christmas parade live online and it was viewed from the station, which made me think of watching from there
