Rail Bikes

My family and I did scenic rail bikes last week when we were in Blue Ridge, GA. They were really fun! It looks like there are only a few places in the US that offer rail bikes currently, and they seem to be pretty new. The attraction in Blue Ridge (operated by the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway) just opened in September 2023.

Have you ever done rail bikes? Is it something you would be interested in doing?

There’s been rail bike tours in Cape May NJ for about 5 years now!

Someone I know was trying to get a trip together to one. I forget exactly where, but know it was NY state. Unfortunately an illness prevented it from happening, so I still haven’t experienced it.
