Raiders of the Lost Ark stunt show

Is the Raiders stunt show at Disney Studios being closed and eventually being turned into the Raiders of the Lost Ark ride?

Last rumor about Raiders is that it was going to be changed to a Kim Possible show.

Some have stated that its only a matter of time before it goes, especially with the auto stunt show coming.

But I haven't seen anything definite as far as this happening for sure, or what will replace it (if anything).

The rumor that the Raiders show would be replaced with a Raiders ride has popped up here a time or 2, but there has never been much evidence that this was actually going to happen. It seems very, very unlikely.

I emailed Jim Hill a question on why WDW didn't have its own version of The Indiana Jones Adventure and he answered it in one of his 'Why For' articles. Alas, it is no longer active on his site (I googled my name, not Distriv, my real name, and when I clicked on the link it sent me to Jim's site but no article came up). He talked about how when AK first opened the Imagineering team responsible for 'Countdown to Extinction' (now Dinosaur) wanted CTX to be the only ride of its kind in WDW, so, no Indy. The reasoning behind this was that with this new type of ride, crowds would be drawn to AK. Now that the Imagineers' dibs on the technology is over five years old and a new stunt show is opening at the studios, we may see the Indy show closed and replaced with a new and improved 'Indiana Jones Adventure'. Personally, I would love this. Living in PA, I don't get to go to Disneyland all that often but I love the Indy ride!
