Background:
There was a raid on U.S. Representative William Jefferson's (aka $Bill) Washington office. On a previous FBI raid of his home last summer (pre katrina), there was a very large amount of money ($80,000) found in his freezer with serial numbers matching a bribe made to him earlier.
This was from the Nola.com forum about the raid:
I just found that hysterical (my dad was a refrigerator repairman). He never found that kind of money!
