When I made our ADR for Raglan Road the CM said they would be accepting both the DDE card and the AP disocunt. I know I read somewhere that Raglan Road has changed their minds about accepting the DDE card, but what about the AP discount? Are they accepting that? Thanks!

When we made our ADR for Raglan Road- the CM told us that they did accept DDE.

Did you ask Disney Dining about this???

Sorry to say that they do not accept the DDE card.

I was also told by Disney Dining when I made my ADR that they would accept it. But....I was there on 10/21 and they do NOT accept it and have no plans to do so in the near future. (I asked)

It was a great time, I loved the restaurant..as did the other six members of our party.

We were also told that they accepted those two discounts.... THEY DO NOT. We were there Friday, OCt. 21 - this was by far the worst dining experience we have ever had at WDW. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing, nor did our particular server seem to care. My DH has opened many restaurants in his 20+ years in the restaurant industry. He said this was a disaster for an opening, and yes, he was basing that solely on our experience. There were too many things wrong to list, but trust me, we won't be back. They even argued with us when it was time to pay the bill and we told them we were informed that they accepted discounts. I've never had anyone in WDW argue with us. Poorly done... I wouldn't waste my money there again.

From recent posts, it sounds like most have had good experiences at Raglan Road. I personally would not base one experience at a restaurant on its grand opening night, Oct. 21st I believe, as being indicative of its quality - both in service and food. I also give businesses a chance to remedy a situation before swearing them off. Did you ask to speak with a manager about the problems you experienced?

It's a good idea to ask your server before ordering if a discount is accepted. I know that several posts on the DIS referenced that they were accepted; ultimately it's the decision of the restaurant if they choose to participate.

Not only did we ask to speak to a manager and calmly explained all the things that went wrong with the evening, he was the one that was argumentative. I found all the employees we were in contact with not up to the Disney standards. I won't be back - the prices are too darn high to give them a second chance. My money is best spent eslewhere.

I really think that's way uncool of them to change their minds! I made an ADR about a month ago for our Thanksgiving week trip because I wanted to try this place AND they accepted DDE. I too, was told when I made the reservation, that they did accept DDE. How do they get away with "just changing their mind?" I would think that they would have to honor the DDE discount if you were originally told they were accepting it and no one called back to tell you otherwise.

Based on what I'm hearing, I think we'll eat someplace else. Doesn't sound like they have all their ducks in order yet.
