What are people's thoughts on this place ? Also, is it on the Dining Plan ?

It is one of our favorites! We ate there twice last visit, the food is amazing (scallops devine!), nice beer selection, and they have entertainment. Even better it's on the DDP!

RR is one of our personal favs! We love the food, the live band, and the Irish dancers. It is part of the dining plan.

We just got back from our son's 16th Birthday Disney vacation and we went to RR and had an incredible dinner! Honestly it was one of our best meals of the week. Food was sooooo yummy. Only complaint was the waiter. He was horrible. Seemed to be hitting on one of his co-workers not wanting to be bothered with his tables. Annoying to say the least. We will be going back again for the great food! (we have been there before and were just as happy with the food!)

We love RR. With people complaining about how the DP reduces choice as restaurants cut back their menu, RR is a definite exception. The selection is huge.

what nights are best for the entertainment? thinking this might be fun for my family....kids are 12, 10, and 8 and NOT adventurous eaters however. Menu makes me pause but they can always order off kids even if they're >10 if they don't like anything else right? [not on DDP].

We ate there last week and it was one of the best meals of our trip. We all got different things and loved them all. I didn't care for the bread pudding though everyone else did, but the creme brulee was deliciously boozy (irish cream) and grown up (a nice change after all the sickeningly sweet desserts you eat on the dining plan).

This was one of our best meals ever there. We were there on the 29th of January and WOW, it was great!

Our whole Grand Gathering ate here but when we booked, we split it up. My lucky family was seated in the middle of the restaurant right by the stage where the Irish woman dances. Other people in our party were seated elsewhere.

The food and service was excellent. I even wrote a note for our server to tell him how wonderful everything tasted and how great he was and the other servers for the other tables our other family members were at.

We had a reservation for 7pm on Saturday night. They will dim the lights and start playing LOUD music in the middle area. Then the Irish dancers come out.

Unfortunately for all involved, our children are susceptible to LOUD music and our DS was the first one to leave us for my sister-in-law's family's table. He had a great time there as it was seated near the entrance to the restaurant and not loud at all. Then my DD left us to sit with the rest of the Grand Gathering in the other room. It was still loud there but not like where we were. We sort of played musical chairs with our children. They were happy where they went to and the waiters that the others had were great in filling up their drinks when required.

As well, with our view of the entertainment right there, where my DH sat, he didn't dare look at the Irish woman dancing as he didn't want to be looking up her skirt as the stage was just above our table. Poor DH didn't catch the dancers as he kept his head down.

All our Grand Gathering family members would gladly eat here again but request not to be placed in the middle of the action where we were. We all loved the food.

Our DD didn't like the choices on the adult menu and they made up a dish with chicken fingers and fries just for her. We were on the dining plan and didn't know how they would charge that but it came off with ease as just one adult credit.

I hope you give this restaurant a try.

Raglan Road is wonderful. Awesome food, awesome entertainment. The creme brulee was the best thing I ate during our trip... Enjoy!
