Yeah or nah? I am still working on the ADRs and I wasnt interested until I saw pictures of some of the desserts. They sound super good...

Any opinions?

I've never been but have heard it's good! I have ADR's for a later dinner in August & than hope to hang around to see the band.

I'ld be interested in people's opinions too!

Desserts are great, but after our last meal there three weeks ago we've "crossed it off our list" (our term for strike 3, yur out!)

Food and service have gone way downhill. Bathrooms are unbelieveable! Gross! Tried to politely register our complaints and we got something like "Yeah, alright". What a change from the first six months they were open.

I like Raglan Road. Was there on July 3. Food was good and the service was fine, which was not the case on previous visits where I sat at a table there. The food has generally been good, but the service lacking.

Actually, most of the time I eat at the bar and don't do the table service thing. The bartenders have been great.

Food was fine but service was terrible. Had to wait ages. Needless 2 say we wont be going again

Go an ADR for upcomming trip.
Will let you know

We love Raglan Road. We've always had great food, good service and really enjoyed the entertainment. My favorite dish is the It's Not Bleedin Chowder. It isn't very soupy and has tons of seafood in it. And the desserts are wonderful!

We love this place! We went for free dining last year and it was super yummy. The drunk chicken is a great app. Also the guiness reduction with olive oil and the bread to dip it in is super good. We went again this past January... still yummy! The fish and chips was pretty darn amazing. The entertainment is great and I have never had a problem with the service (I think our server the last time was new and a little confused). I'd def check it out!

Okay - we LOVE this place but it's not because of the food or service (which I have found lacking as well). The food is good but we go for the atmosphere. The band, crowds, and Irish dancing is what keeps us going back. I would not go out of my way to have a meal here if not going for the evening (with adults)...

I'm considering Raglan Rd as well. How does it compare with other Irish Pubs? It sounds like the food might be as good if not better and the service about the same ;) .

No, really. We like going out to "real" Irish pubs, will this seem like a fake version or like home? (Boston, not Ireland)

Oh and do they have Boddingtons on tap?

Thanks,
Heather

Another yes for Raglan Road. We'll be going on our next trip. Last time the service as a little slow, but it gives you time to look around. No one in our group had a complaint. A few favorite menu items -- scallops (appetizer), fish & chips are great, but don't forget the dessert. Hard to choose but I would say the Dunbrody kiss is the best.

Ate here last August and liked it enough to make ADRs for our next trip in October! We thought the food was pretty good and reasonably priced for a restaurant on Disney property (translation: way more than we'd pay for the same meal at home, but our total wasn't as painful for what we got as it was at some other spots). The atmosphere is great too: the space is beautiful and the live entertainment is fun. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone unless they want a quiet meal. The restaurant was a little loud even before the band started, and it was definitely difficult to carry on a conversation afterward. Service wasn't the best we've had on property, but it wasn't bad either. It wasn't up to Disney standards, but it was about on par to most of the mid-range restaurants at home. I'm pretty hard to offend service wise though. A server has to be really awfully to inspire complaints from me.

How hard would it be to walk-in during lunchtime on a Tuesday? I want to make an ADR for our first day, but don't know what time we'll be arriving.

We always go for lunch during the week of our stay and have never made an ADR. Usually there's only a few tables at lunchtime even full. We've walked right in at 1130, 1230 and 2 before without problems. Actually all of DTD is so nice during the weekdays. It's pretty quiet and it's nice to shop without tons of people.

Haven't been yet, but the ADR I am most looking forward to on my upcoming trip. Everything just looks so good! For the most part I have only heard good things, though.

Haven't been to one in Ireland but compared to one in an Irish neighborhood in (say) Chicago ... it is more upscale in decor and food choices but fairly comparable in "atmosphere" ... live entertainment, Irish dancing, and some "regulars" who keep the party atmosphere going at the bar.

We were there in June ... good food, good service ... we had a ball!

Yes, they have Boddingtons on tap.

This place is completely overrrated. We went there in early May and were one of the first tables seated for dinner. The place is beautiful, which is about the best thing I can say about it. The food was so-so. Frankly, it was just a step above Bennigans or TGIFridays.

We had really appalling service. Keep in mind that the place wasn't half-full the entire time we were there. We didn't receive any drink refills.
The waitress was rude and openly complained to her co-workers about a simple request from our table; I mean, we could see her and hear her! Which of course, hardly mattered since they added the gratuity in already.

I had the steak. It was a bit tough. It did taste good, but the sauce was only on half the steak and the mashed potatoes tasted like nothing at all. And the highly touted bread pudding was bland and eggy tasting (and not in a good, custardy way). The sauce was okay, but I make a version of it at home that doesn't have the funny aftertaste and I'll stick with that.

I wouldn't go back. There are too many better places to eat at Disney. Frankly, I'd rather go to the Earl of Sandwich than Raglan Road.
