DH and I are celebrating our anniversary in WDW at the end of May. I'm trying to decide if we should try eating at Raglan Road. Anyone have any good or bad experiences there to share? We mostly want to go there to enjoy the entertainment. Is it the kind of place where we could just stop in and have a drink at the bar?

Absolutely the place to stop in and have a drink. The reviews on the food have been mixed. Actually, my DH & I have had mixed reviews (we had one good and one OK experience with the food). It is a very fun place. I would recommend going when the house band is performing-they're great!! (They definitely play on Fridays & Saturdays...but check for other nights...I know they do not perform on Sundays). Also, check on the time they start each evening as it might not be until later on in the evening. We sat at the round bar in the main room with the music with our backs to the bar and thought it was a great spot. We had a few drinks and ordered from the late night bar menu when we got hungry later on in the evening. The cheeseburgers had an awesome flavor and the deep fried irish sausages sound weird, but we loved them! Hope this helps! Have fun!

Raglan Road is my DH's fav place. It's beautiful inside, they have a lively Irish band and step-dancer and pretty decent to good food. I had the Roast Loin of Bacon which I thought was just ok. DH had fish and chips which he loved. We'd go back more for the atmosphere versus the food.

We had a great exp there - go late if you want to hear music and such. I believe it started at 9pm when we went. It quickly becomes a loud, active, fun place to share a drink with friends at that time of night. At least when we were there! There wasn't a child to be seen and it mostly business people and some older families.

The atmosphere is great, place is just gorgeous. Band was excellent. We thought the food was good but extremely overpriced; we won't dine again unless on the DDP paying for it! But we will DEF stop in for drinks.

We were there last Tuesday night. We made ADR's for 8:00pm. We got a table right in the center of the main dining room right next to the dancer's table. The entertainment started a little after 9:00pm. The bands first set lasted about 45 minutes and the dancer came out 3 times throughout the set. The restaurant didn't seem crowded at all. In fact most people that came in after us were given their choice of tables. There are two bar areas, both with great views of the stage. I had the t-bone steak and DH had the bangers(sausage) and mash. DH enjoyed his meal but, I personally was not impressed with the food, except for the dessert. Next time we will get drinks and desserts and just enjoy the entertainment.

Hubby and I love Raglan Road. It opens at 3pm, it is best to make a reservation if you know what night/time you want to go as it gets very busy in the evenings. The food and service are fantastic. Every dessert is excellent.

We have been many times. We have taken our adult children and friends from out of town, they all loved it.

The place is beautiful and the bars are wonderful.

You can stop in and have a drink, you can even get your meal at the bar if you want to. They have a full bar and a great selection of beers.

We just can't say enough great things about this place, it is definately a welcome addition to the WDW area restaurants. It is not disney owned, which is probably a good thing as quality will more than likely stay as good as it is now.
