We tried this place for the first time and loved it. It's a pleasant atmosphere, interesting new foods and quality entertainment.
We arrived at 7 pm so that we could be there for the 9 pm entertainment. For appetizers we ordered ribs and a crab filled puff. The ribs were delectable, and different from any I've ever eaten. We came back before the trip was over to have more! My crab puff was unusually flavored and pleasant. However I ordered chicken and mushroom pie which also turned out to be in a puff so it was a bit too much puff for me. The chicken and mushroom pie was very good, and I'd choose that next time and forget the crab puff.
My husband got a dish called bangers. It was sausage and mashed potatoes. It's presentation was very, very odd. This is a family oriented board, so I won't go into detail, but it was the stuff of jokes for days. Honestly it's the one dish we didn't really enjoy. The sausage was kind of bland though there was plenty of it. The mashed potatoes were yummy though.
The dessert was ok but not spectacular. The coffee was good, and there was an iced tea that was very unusual and so scrumptious.
The best part was the band. They were just outstanding. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed them! About every 2-3 songs a very pretty young girl came out and danced in the center of the diners. It was really lovely.
The servers were excellent, pleasant and helpful.
We will definitely make it a point to go back there!
