Raglan Road was great!

I'm back from my trip and my favorite meal was at Raglan Road. I admit the entree of Shepards Pie was just ok but the crab appitizer was great and the Bread Pudding was FANTASTIC! Plus the entertainment was terrific. We got there at 7:50 on Thursday and told the hostess that we wanted to see the band. She put us at a table right between the band and the table the dancer dances on. All in all I had a wonderful night there and can't wait to go back. Now I just need to find a great entree.

I have to agree about the Bread pudding - it was FANTASTIC! My mom and I enjoyed our appetizers but neither of us cared for our entrees. I wish I could find and entree there that I liked as well because the apps and dessert are wonderful!!! Glad to hear that the entertainment was good as well. We were a little to early to catch it but I would have like to have seen it.

We love Raglan Road! We've been there twice -- my husband loves the steak and I've had Sod the Stew, which was very good, and the Shepherd's Pie, which was just ok. The appetizers and desserts and beer are great! I always get the Hard Cider.

We went to Raglan Road a few weeks ago and I have to say my experience was not exactly the same. The crab appetiser did not go down a treat but our scallops were very nice. The portions were very small and even after the main course we were hungry. The bread pudding was so good though. We couldnt wait to get out as the entertainment was not good.It was so loud. There were only two Irish songs interspersed by My Bonnie lies over the Ocean, What shall we do with the Drunken Sailor, Scarborough Fair and several others. The other diners were not happy either and there was absolutely no applause. Our evening wasnt helped by a very rude waiter.
In fact our evening was pretty much ruined by all the negatives. I had been so looking forward to Raglan Road as I come from Ireland.
