what should I eat there?

We love Raglan Road. We have been many times since it has opened. We have taken our kids and grandchildren (ages 1 to 30). We have taken friends.
Everyone enjoys it. The food and service are fantastic.

Hubby loves Kevin's Kudo's. I love the scallop forest. All the beers and drinks are pretty good, lol, we definately don't pass them up. The bread pudding dessert is fantastic, although all the desserts are great..lol, yes we have tried them all.

We just ate there a week ago and the fish and chips were great. We booked a table to coincide with the band and the Irish dancer. Our eight year old daughter loved the dancing and at the table behind us there was a girl of no more than four years of age who really enjoyed the dancer. She was imitating the folk dancing steps during every song. Be forewarned, however, that this is a bar type atmosphere and the facility is divided into different rooms. If you want a view of the band and the dancer then you might have to wait to get a table that will do that for you. We told them that was our request when we checked in at the restaurant and we waited an additional 20 minutes to get that seating. But, the hostess then tried to walk us to a table in a different room, which we refused. The restaurant is cold, so bring a sweater and be prepared to take your time once you're in there. The service is very slow. Frankly, we found the service lacking at just about every WDW restaurant that we went to. It took two hours to get through dinner at Ragland and we didn't even stay for the dessert that we ordered because it was already taking another twenty minutes before we finally cancelled that. The waitress kept apologizing, but we were trying to get our DD to some Downtown Disney shops before they closed, so we just couldn't wait any longer. Another warning, the ranch dressing is very strong and actually quite different in flavor than what you might be used to. If your child is planning to order the mac-n-cheese, ask for a small sample for them to try first because it, too, has a rather unique flavor. All in all, we enjoyed the meal. I really enjoyed the fish and chips and could heartily recommend that selection.

We eat at Raglan Road a few times a month and we just had our wedding dinner there. All of our guests raved about the food. The service can be a little sketchy from time to time which I have mentioned to the owner! They gave us an awesome server for our wedding dinner!
My favs on the menu:
Appetizers - scallop forrest & goat cheese
Entrees - 1. Salmon 2. Serious Sirloin 3. Pie in the Sky
I alway order the colcannon (mashed potatos, cabbage, irish bacon) instead of the mashed potatos. I don't even like cabbage but the colcannon is soooo good!
Dessert - Dunbrody's kiss!

I love the band but they don't start until 9 now. It's worth going late for the band and the dancer! I went Tuesday night and there were lots of kids of all ages having a great time!

If you look at the sticky'd post at the top of the board called Restaurant Pictures Categorized, there are lots of pics of Raglan Road food to give you a good idea of what the food looks like.
