Raglan Road - suitability for young kids?

I have heard that Raglan Road can be quite loud/pub-ish (obviously if pub is in the name hahaha)... true? Suitable for a 5 and 7 year old? My kids would get such a kick (no pun intended) out of the dancers so I'm thinking we would have to make an ADR for 6pm or later if they want to see the dancers? Thanks!

Dined there last October with a 7 year old and an 8 year old during Friday or Saturday night dinner, and they didn't have any issues with the noise levels. They definitely enjoyed the music and watching the dancers.

We have been several times with our kids who are 8 and 13 now, but they have been going for at least 3 years if not more. It is their favorite place to go and they always request it. They have kids come up on stage to dance. My daughter got a certificate once when she danced with them. It is loud, but my daughter slept through the whole thing once when she was 6.

Our kids enjoy it. If you are concerned about the dinner crowd and potential for the bar area to "influence" the restaurant overall, consider a late Sunday brunch. The dancers are there, but the crowd and noise level tend to be a bit lower.

It can get loud, but not in an obnoxious way. They'll also take the kiddos up to step dance .. my daughter loved it at 8, we're going back this trip as well.

OK great, thanks! Yes, was mostly just concerned about it being really loud / lots going on, but sounds like it should be ok! Thanks!!!

We usually go right at 5p when the dancing starts. It tends to less crowded then but by the time we are done it is rather loud . They will bring a "door" to dance on in case your not seated in the main dining room. It is our daughter's fondest memory from our first trip and a must do each time we go to Disney World. Also we always have mac ear plugs with us to help in case it is too loud.

I'd be more concerned that 5 to 7 year old kids in a bar would be the ones making too much noise.

We eat there about 6 and never had a problem we have taken ages 10 month up to 12 year old . They all love it there. We have eaten there about 10 times. Yummy!!!

It's one of my kids' favorite places. The children's menu has a really nice selection. We always go toward the end of our trip when our little two are getting tired of "kid food".

I took my kids at that age for dinner during a crowded week, and it was fabulous. We didn't go super late, but it was pub-y in the true Irish sense (where kids are always welcome!)

I know that your question has been answered, but my kids loved it in May (they're 7, 6 & 4). The 6-year-old even went on stage and danced.

We've been there and plan to go back. They take the kids on stage to dance. DD 6 at the time had a blast.

It's our because of the music and the dancing. Not bc of people yelling, other than having to raise voices to be heard over the music and the dancing.

It's a perfectly fine place.
