well, we used our certificate for raglan road a week or so ago.... Have to say, we thought it was ok, but nothing too special. I really liked the fish and chips, haven't tasted better anywhere else- DH liked the shepherds pie ok, I thought it was odd tasting- Ds liked his cheeseburger and fresh fries.
The little plates set on the table(we never had reason to use them) actually had crud all over them, I mean, lots of stuff stuck all over them-ewww. Not what we'd expect from a restaurant that charges high prices for a kids burger.
We decided against dessert, as the portions were large. The ambience was pleasant and comfortable, just not incredibly special.
All in all, We had a $50 certificate which we paid $25 for- and the total came to $52 for 3 meals and a cup of tea. So for what we paid, it was acceptable. If we had gone in and paid full price, we would've felt very disappointed.
FWIW, our restaurant review.
