After having read all the shining reviews and seeing all the awesome pics of Raglan Road on here, I am thinking of having dinner here after Cirque du Soleil. For those of you that have been here before, I have a menu question. My mom, who will be joining me, does not eat red meat or pork, do you think there is enough on the menu for her? (she eats chicken and seafood mostly, and she loves veggies) Have any of you had any of these dishes? How are they? She's pretty easy to please, I just want to feel comfortable that she won't leave hungry ;)

Secondly, we are going to the 6 PM Cirque show, what time should we make ADR's for? I don't want to have to charge out of the show and run through the masses to make it there :lmao:

We were originally planning on eating at Rainforest, as we have been to many of their locations before and enjoyed them, but I thought this would be a fun, new experience.

Thanks!!

There are quite a few items she could choose from. http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_rag.htm

I had a mushroom risotto there last year and it was excellent. It doesn't appear to be on the menu anymore, though. It's a good restaurant. :thumbsup2

As for timing, I can't help. I've never seen the Cirque du Soleil show.

We did this in February - went to the 6pm Cirque showing and had ADRs for Raglan Road afterwards. Our ADR was for 8:15 but we actually arrived a few minutes early - we still waited almost an hour to be seated, mind you

The drunk chicken appetiser is very nice, as are the scallops. I'm sure your Mum would enjoy both.

I have only ever had the fish and chips entree, which was delicious. I am sure your Mum would be fine there.

As a big seafood guy myself, I HIGHLY:thumbsup2 recommend the mussels main dish! Hands down the tastiest (maybe a tie with LeCellier), biggest, freshest mussels I've had. DD12:cutie: raved about the chicken dish (I can't remember the name after too many Bass Ales:lmao: )

The menu was quite varied, I wouldn't worry!:thumbsup2

We're pescatarians, so don't eat meat, but we LOVE Raglan Road; there is a big selection for us there.

Cheers!

the mussles appetizer is also fantastic and almost unfinshable due to the large quantity of them. The fish and chips were raved about by a dining companion. The colcannon was a great side to the mussles.

Thanks to everyone for all the praise on Raglan Road- I am definitely making a ressie here. I don't know why I worry so much- my is so pumped to be going to WDW, I know she doesn't care where we eat :upsidedow

Can you make ressies for Raglad Road at 180 days out also?

Ahhh, I can't wait, I am already excited for the Scallop Forest I saw pics of
