Raglan Road or Wolfgang Puck

I need to book one TS meal for my parents who will be arriving to Disney before us. I'm thinking Downtown Disney because that might be something they'd enjoy to do that day without the kids and it's close by. Which do you like better-Raglan Road or Wolfgang Puck?

I missed my ADR last time for RR, but did make it to Wolfgang's and thought the food was great, and the view was great. If your parents like anything to do with the Irish theme, i would say RR is more special

You could do RR as a TS and go to Wolfgang Puck Express for a CS meal. I LOVE WPE!

Raglan Road definitely. We used to love Wolfgang Puck but the last couple of years they have served us very little food for our money.

Okay - we LOVE LOVE LOVE Raglan Road (it's the only must restaurant according to my DH) but my ILs were less than thrilled with the atmosphere.

How hip are your parents? What time are you thinking? Do they enjoy unique dishes or more typical?

My FIL is a meat and potatos guy and was okay with the fish and chips but that was as far as he'd go. The atmosphere was a little loud for them, we went after 8pm for the entertainment.

They woudl have enjoyed Wolfgang PUcks better.

I've been to both - WPC is great food, VERY tasty. RR is great food AND great lively atmosphere.

RR have live music and its Irish so its prudy good. food is okay but not over priced like WGP

Go for Wolfgang. We love the food at Wolfgang and did not like RR at all. We got there just prior to a cloud burst. Unfortunately the ADR we had made weeks in advance got pushed to the bottom of the list when others poured into the restaurant with no ADRS. We waited for 45 minutes to just sit down. It was crazy noisy. There wasn't any entertainment when we were there. The food was only ok and quite over priced for what you get. It didn't help that there were kids running WILD hitting people with balloons supplied by the balloon artist in RR. Of course I don't blame RR for the kids...their parents weren't keeping them controlled at all. It was just plain chaos in there. We were very disappointed since we were really looking forward to great Irish food and a fun atmosphere.

went to WP twice and was never overly excited about it, would prefer to do WPE as CS

Raglan is comfortable and fun. Wolfie is overpriced and pretentious.

I guess it depends on what kind of people your parents are.

WPC definately has better food (no debate there), but RR has incredibly talented entertainers (unfortunately, the food is not good ). RR tends to have better service (that doesn't help make the meal more edible though).

eat at WPC, & have drinks at the bar in RR (best of both worlds)
