Raglan Road or Homecoming?

Settle the family debate

Family of 5, incl a 9, 8, and almost-4-yo. Both menus sound delicious.

Which one and why?

A lot depends on if you find Irish music/dancing a plus or minus. Your kids would probably enjoy the entertainment art RR, at the very least. Homecomin' may have less appeal to the children.

I don't think there's a wrong choice here, unless you don't like Southern cooking. Personally, I would choose Raglan Road, because there are more healthy choices. Homecomin' is not the best choice for someone who had four coronary artery bypass grafts!

Homecoming for brunch/lunch. Love the chicken and waffles.

Raglan Road for dinner. The entertainment and beer are great!

Hard choice. Great food at both. Entertainment (dancing & bands) exceptional at Raglan Road.
Food between the two: edge to Homecomin' even if getting fried chicken. My sense is that more detail and effort paid to individual dish at Homecomin'. More of a crank it out at Raglan Road. Still love both.

Without question..Raglan Road. Homecomin' is so heavy. And neither me or my husband were fans of the breading on the fried chicken. It's very thick. I like a thin crispy fried chicken. And there was nothing to lighten up the meal. Mashed potatoes or mac and cheese. Heavy carby food. Just the other day I told my husband that maybe we ordered the wrong things and we should try again. He said nope. Not interested. I will someday give it another try. When I get to take a trip without him. Raglan Road is incredible. Their gnoochi dish is something that i still dream about. I haven't had it since 2012 and they recently put it back on their menu. Hoping it stays there until we go in August. The band, at Raglan Road was really good I screwed up and didn't buy a CD while we were there. Authentic Irish music and musicians. So much fun.

Thank you for your last point! We actually do love southern food - the deviled eggs look scrumptious - but are health conscious and would at least want to balance an indulgence with a better choice. Thanks for the note!
