Raglan Road-Love it or Hate it???

Love Raglan Road! Every time I head to Disney, I make it a point to stop there for a pint of Guinness or lunch!

We LOVE it! We were there for Thanskgiving 2008 and it was a blast. It was our first night at WDW and the food was great!! It's authentic Irish and that's maybe why some of the people don't like it. My daughter who was 6 at the time liked the food as well. :thumbsup2

The band was playing and we were sitting next to the lead singer/fiddle players Irish parents and we talked with them alot, what great people! It was a very magical beginning to a great WDW trip!! We'd definitely do it again. :wizard:

Everyone, thank you so much for the opinions! I'm definitely going to make a reservation for our October trip!!!
Thanks!!!
:yay:

Really liked it! They have the best ribs which are Guinness and honey glazed. I still dream about them! I can't wait to go back in October. :woohoo:

Great to see all the positive reviews. We have a res our first night. Can't wait:thumbsup2

Both! We ate at the bar and loved it. Fantastic beer, appetizers, and dessert with truly EXCELLENT service from the bartenders. We loved it so much that we made an ADR to do a sit-down dinner later in the week. We hated the return visit. The hostesses were snooty, we had very poor service from our waitress, and the food (Shepard's Pie) was terrible. The experiences were like night and day. :confused3

I'm excited to try it now! We have a ressie on our first night as well! YEA!

We're glad to see all of the positive reviews/opinions on this thread. We've never been to Raglan Road, but we've got reservations in October!

Keep the good news comin'! :thumbsup2

TX

You'll love it!

Took my DD and a friend of hers there a few months ago. We had a great time and enjoyed the food.

I am so excited, we are heading there for our first time in a few weeks! I was nervous with the kids, but it seems like it should be fun for them too.

Love it. Kids always enjoy the food (DD loves the lamb, DS enjoys the shrimp and fish & chips; DW and I have probably tried half the menu by now and I can't think of anything I didn't at least enjoy), and it is a fun atmosphere.

You've got to be kidding! The menu has been so dumbed down here from when it opened, it's ridiculous.

Food has really gotten bad. Service worse and the place is really dirty.

We loved it at first but won't go back now.

Sorry to be in the minority here.

Neither love nor hate it. Food is okay; a bit heavy for summer in FL and not always executed to perfection. With that said, some things are pretty good,.its interesting food, and it is a great place to either sit outside or enjoy the music at night.

As far as disney restaurants go, I'd put it on the short list of good places.

Thanks for asking about Raglan Road. I just booked my ADRs last night and DH specifically requested RR. We're mostly looking forward to the entertainment.

I like Raglan Road a lot. The colcannon is really good, as are the Guinness ribs!

However, the best kept secret is Cook's of Dublin, next door. It is counter service but has really fresh fried fish or shrimp baskets and delicious meat pies!

We loved it when we were in the main diningroom with the band but it wasn't as fun in the room off to the side where it was quiet. Some people would probably prefer that but we liked the pub atmosphere better. The food was excellent.

We enjoyed our meal at Raglan Road on our recent trip. The food was tasty and our service was good. I read a lot of negative reviews before my trip, but decided to give it a try anyways and I'm glad I did! Oh and the servers a cute :rolleyes1
