Raglan Road entertainment question

There is entertainment both outside and inside, correct? Is the entertainment much better at one of the other or are they fairly comparable?

I have seen the full band and dancers inside only. On occassion, I have seen 1 or 2 people with a guitar playing outside. Otherwise, it seems like the music inside was played outside as well. It may be different on different nights.

We’ve seen a completely different band playing outside more than once. I can’t remember whether it’s only been on weekends, though. There were no Irish dancers outside and no coordination of times - entirely separate performances. We’ve enjoyed them even when not eating there, just passing by!

I did see that. I guess I should have asked if people like inside or outside entertainment better or if the quality of the shows/bands are different.

When we went, there was a band playing outside on a patio. They were pretty good, but frankly we were able to enjoy them while sitting outside the restaurant waiting for our adr, so didn't see the point to ask to sit on the patio. Inside they had the dancers on the main stage. Unfortunately, we were sat in a side room where we couldn't see anything. They did have a couple of dancers come into our area at one point and bring the kids up and teach them a dance. Then they gave them a certificate. It was cute, but next time I'm going to ask to be in the main room by the stage.

I wouldn’t say the quality was different but I did enjoy the outside entertainment a little more because the style or type of music was different (we’ve seen the dancing several times). I remember an Irish folk-rock band that had some amazing instrumentalists and also (on a separate occasion) an Irish family that played and sang. So if given a choice, I might choose to sit outside because inside for me is “been there - done that,” but weather would play an important part in my choice too!

Good to know about the side room! I probably wouldn't go to eat there if I wasn't able to see the entertainment.
