What time does the entertainment :rockband: generally begin. We are planning on going on a Friday night in August. Also, can you see the entertainment from all of the tables in the restaurant, or should we request a certain area? I made an ADR for 6:30, so I hope we can get to see something! Thanks in advance for all answers!! :goodvibes :drinking1

The live music begins at 9pm. You will be long done with dinner by that time, but you are encouraged to stick around, keep drinking and enjoy the entertainment.

The majority of the dining room you can see the stage from.

You could always eat, go look around a bit and then come back for the entertainment.

webray - thanks for the answer! So, they don't rush you through dinner? You can keep the table, and order some drinks and hang out?

We have eaten there 4 or 5 times now. And when it was getting closer to entertainment time, they said, just stay and enjoy if you want.

They definately don't rush you through dinner. You are going to love it!

Ok - so I think I'll change my ADR to around 7, and then hang out. We'll force ourselves to have appetizers and desserts to stretch out the meal :rotfl2:

The band starts at 9, but there's another act that starts between 8 and 8:30 - a guy playing the keyboard and leading the crowd in singing pub songs. He's very good, too, and definitely helps to while away the time while you're waiting for the band to start.

when i was checking out pix of Raglan Road i could have sworn i saw steps attached to the tables...do they dance on top of the tables there? if so, cool :cool1:

There is one "dancing table" in the middle of the main room, and yes, they do dance on top of it. :cool1:

i have got to see this place when we go, it sounds like alot of fun...bring out the guiness xtra stout for me!!!

I can't wait to try this place this coming fall! Coming from Boston, Irish pubs are the absolute best, both food and music-wise. And yes! I do love Guinness! :thumbsup2
