I have not seen any reviews of Raglan Rd. I am a huge fan of Irish pubs and am looking forward to checking it out in Sept. Has anyone eaten there? Drank there? How was it?

We ate dinner there twice when we went to WDW at Easter. I went in not expecting much because I had always heard that Irish food was nothing to rave about (not my opinion, just what I had always heard!) but I can honestly say I was pleasently suprised. I had a dish called Bang Bang Bangers, which was sausage ( very mild, not like Itialian sausage) served over mashed potatoes and some sort of gravy and it was quite good. My neice had fish and chips and she said it was very good. My sisters both had salmon and they also enjoyed it. They also raved about the bread pudding for dessert and I think if you get the chance you might enjoy it. We don't drink (funny because we are german and irish) but others around us seemed to be enjoying their drinks. The tab for the dinner was very resonable. The waitress told us the bar and dining room was designed in Ireland and then brought over and assembled here, it was very nice. We were told that after 9 pm there is live music but we missed that (too bad because my neice is a competing irish step dancer). All told I would definately recommend it highly and a know we will go back there on our next visit later this year. Enjoy!

I was going to say I've seen a couple of review threads. Looks great.

My oldest son and his best friend has ADR's there for our trip. I would love to go, but I don't think it would be up youngest son's alley so I will skip it this trip. But I can't wait to hear about it when my oldest goes. Maybe I can talk him into bringing me a sample of any leftovers......... :teeth:

We are going in Oct, hope to enjoy.

We went a couple of weeks ago and LOVED it. Try to make a reservation around 8-ish because the entertainment starts at 8:45 and it's really good. Irish music and dancing - very festive! I had the salmon and my husband had the steak marinated in whisky and both were very good. Not outstanding, but very enjoyable. They have a great variety of beers as well. Everyone around us seemed to be getting the fish and chips and that looked really good too. We also had the chocolate souffle for dessert and that was amazing. Overall, the food was good, the atmosphere was fun, and the entertainment was terrific. We will definitely go back! Hope you enjoy it too!

Thanks for the reassurance - we're trying Raglan in about 2 weeks time :cool1:

We ate at the PUB in JAN and LOVED It so much we had to go back for the ribs and beer one more time before we went home  It is now a must do for all trips to the world. party:
