What does people think of the Raglan?

If we wanted to go there with our family,(very young children) is it appropriate?

I have never seen Raglan be 'inappropriate' for young kids, but I do know that it shifts into more of a bar scene as the night gets later, especially as it is approaching midnight. We've had ADR's as late as 7:30 before, and never had a problem. But, I've also went through there (solo) for drinks at 10:30 when the band is playing (VERY LOUDLY I MIGHT ADD), and it definitely is more of an adult bar feel that late at night.

If you eat at a reasonable time, I would suppose ADR before 7:00 p.m., I don't think you'll find it inappropriate at all for young ones. IMHO.

We went around 6 or so in June and almost had the place to ourselves! The kid menu is not typical--it's FABULOUS! The mac & cheese had very high quality cheese, so of course my 8 year old wanted the "orange stuff". Argh.

We love Raglan Road! And it has a great kid's menu! Going with kids is fine-I would just do an earlier dinner. The balloon guy might be there-he made a cool balloon animal for our son-Mickey Mouse on a motorcycle! :thumbsup2 Enjoy!

Thanks guys, I assumed it should be no problem as long as we went early, but I didn't want any surprises!;) I have been wanting to go here and then I looked at the kids menu to help make some final picks between restaurants(funny way huh?!?) and I noticed they had some different kids picks which was the bonus!:goodvibes

BTW how long a trip from POP or ASMovies? Bus or car?
