I'm assuming this is handicapped accessible. But my question is how? Can I stay in my chair or do I need to fold it? How about the area back there? Is it easily accessed. We have never done this and my kids are wanting to check this out. Any suggestions or tips??

Thanks in advanced!!

The train is wheelchair and ECV accessible. No need to get out.
If you click here, this thread has a lot of information and some pictures of the train. There are also some links to some youtube videos.
It's very accessible, there was not anything my DD could not see from her wheelchair. I took some 'wheelchair eye views' on our last trip. Don't have time to post them tonight, but hopefully this weekend.

We did not go into the Affection Station (basically a petting zoo). It is accessible, but I know from past experience that going in can get the wheelchair tires quite dirty and if there are any goats, they will follow the wheelchair and nip at the tires. After that happened a few times, DD won't go in the petting areas.

Thanks Sue!! That's exactly what I needed to know!!:disrocks:

The official WDW site states that guest must transfer to a wheelchair in order to visit the affection area. That is the only area that a person has to exit their ECV or wheelchair. There was a booth that was dark that I got out of the ECV for but they said I could have stayed in the ECV.

Thanks.
We didn't even look because of past bad experiences with petting zoos. I know you were allowed to stay in the wheelchair in the past (no ECVs) because we did do it in the past.
