Radisson vs Pop

Good Morning All!
We are sailing on Jan 16, but we are spending the day before at WDW with dinner at Chef Mickey's
We are booked at the Radisson but now we are wondering if we would be better off staying onsite at WDW and driving to the port in the AM....what do all you experts say?

There are 6 of us, we are booked in a double king, but we could get two rooms at POP for a bit less.

You're going to be in your own car? Then you're better with Pop Century.

They have revamped the layout at the port that dropping off your party and parking your car there is a really easy process now.

My personal opinion is as long as you're in the area you're good. We just did a Vero Beach the night before and it was painless even including returning a rental.

We are staying at the AKL the night before our 2/13/05 Disney Wonder cruise. We are renting a car at the airport and will park it at the port. I like the idea of spending the day before in the Disney area. We will do some shopping at Downtown Disney and have dinner at Boma. We will drive to the port in the morning. Should be easy, since it's a Sunday morning.
