Hello! I am new to the board but have beem lurking for quite some time. We are taking the kids to Disney in May. I work for Wyndham Hotels so I am able to get a few free nights at the Palace....but the Wyndham Palms has not confirmed my other free nights yet, so I have booked my backup.

I went to dreamsunlimitedtravel.com (thanks to this board!) and found the Radisson Resort Parkway for $63/night. The property looks really nice so I went ahead and booked it.

I also had a tentative reservation at the ASM resort in Disney but I did not like the fact that there were no coffeemakers (I need my caffiene) in the rooms and I heard that the hotel was more like a Disney Motel 6. That rate was $74. The kids can also eat free at the Radisson... so since we are on a budget I decided on it instead. Please tell me if I made a mistake!!!

Is the Radisson a nice property? I just want a CLEAN room -- no bugs, funny smells or dirty sheets..a nice pool area for the kiddos.....and transportation to the parks to save on parking $$.

I tried getting the infamous $81 rate at the Swan through Hotwire but all that keeps coming up for my dates is the $69 rate at the Hilton. I stayed at the Hilton YEARS ago and it was nice, but really would rather get the Swan or Dolphin if I were to go through Hotwire!

Any advice is greatly appreciated...Thanks in advance!!

I have also book RRP for November after reading reviews and message boards like you. Everything I've heard is great, yet to hear one negative about anything, so let's hope for the best. I posted your same question on this board just a week or two ago, you might want to read replys to that, mentions KEF program and such. I'd like to try for the Swan discount you mentioned, how is it listed on the site so I don't bid on the wrong hotel?

Look under the Budget Board here and there is someone who has a site called Travel Bidding that says just what the Hotwire list should look like for the Swan or Dolphin. There are a whole string of really informative posts, so be sure to read them all! :)
